Open Question: what British Universities/Colleges are recommended for media studies?

I'll be finishing up undergrad by December.. I'm seriously considering grad school but I'm not set on a location yet.. there's a competitive program sponsored by the UK Government I've discovered that provides a full ride 2-year stint at a british university for Americans who've just got their bachelor's. hmm. I'm looking at communication/media studies/journalism (recommended schools?). http://www.marshallscholarship.org/ I've always wanted to travel, but never really had the opportunity to go overseas. anybody already going to, or have been to a UK college, what's the atmosphere like, and especially if you're an american living there, what are the pros and cons.. getting around the city, cultural activities. fairness of curriculum....
